Sandy Brackett, Executive Director
Sandy has lived in the beautiful community of Landaff since 2015, after leaving the NH lakes region where she and her husband, Andy, resided for 15 years. She was born and raised in central Massachusetts. Sandy is a graduate of Springfield College in Springfield, MA. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and a minor in business where she graduated in the top 10 of her class. Sandy has been the Director of Educational Services for a nationally and internationally recognized health and fitness company out of NYC for the last 12 years. Prior to that, Sandy was both a Manager and then an Assistant Manager of two major school bus companies, out of Fitchburg, MA and Belmont, NH respectively. Locally, she is the editor of the “Landaff Ledger”; a member of the Friends of Landaff; the outgoing Treasurer for the Lisbon Friends in Council. Sandy was also a past secretary for the Lisbon Stump Jumpers; a past program lecturer/member of the Mount Hope Grange #77 and a past Landaff Planning Board member. Sandy enjoys organic gardening, cooking healthy meals, exercising and caring for her 1 dog, 2 cats, and 7 chickens! She lives by her favorite saying “Smiling costs nothing and says everything.”

Abbey was born and raised in Berlin, NH and graduated from St. Johnsbury Academy. She spent her high school winters teaching children how to ski at Burke Mountain in Vermont where her passion for working with children first started. Abbey attended Castleton University and was a Student Ambassador and Community Advisor as well as an active member of Peer Advocates for Change and Habitat for Humanity. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education. Following graduation Abbey taught Physical Education and was the Health Supervisor at a private elementary school in Manchester for five years. After returning to the north country, Abbey spent this past summer working at Ogontz Resort as the Day Camp Leader. In her spare time Abbey enjoys golfing with her husband and playing with their golden doodle, Brady.

Erin joins the Boys & Girls Club of the North Country from Bethlehem, where she has been living with her husband and daughter for the past 5 years. As a former teacher, school leader, and education consultant, she has dedicated her career to working with children. Erin is currently a Profile School Board Member and a Bethlehem Cares Committee Member. Outside of work, you can find Erin enjoying the outdoors with her family or performing with Theatre UP. She is incredibly excited to be in this new role supporting young people and helping to create a positive impact in our local North Country community.

Cathy comes to us from Bethlehem and has been a part of the surrounding community for several years. Her professional background brings many great things to BGC. With her most recent employment in Guest Relations at the Mountain View Grand Hotel, along with her educational background in Business Administration, and over 30 years of employment experience in Human Resources, Cathy is an incredible addition to our team.
